Souaad Asar

Sr. Souaad Abd-ulbary Asar became a teacher to help students reach their highest potential. After a career in business management, she followed her passion and earned the Early Childhood Human Development Bachelor of Science from Coppin State University in Baltimore, Maryland. For almost two decades, she’s developed a deep expertise in teaching the Arabic language to both native and non-native speakers, coupled with a specialization in Qur’an and Noorani Qa’idah for all ages. Sr. Souaad regularly spends time enhancing her knowledge from scholars in Egypt, education conferences, and fellow educators and administrators. Sr. Souaad applies different techniques in the classroom to students at all proficiency levels. As part of the team of educators at Al-Rahmah School’s Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Qur’an Department, Sr. Souaad confidently prioritizes the education of students in the community to guide future generations of Muslimeen and Muslimat, hand in hand with families to create a nurturing environment for all youth to learn and grow.
