High School Director

Khadija Rahman

Sr. Khadija Rahman brings over 25 years of experience as an educator and facilitator across primary, secondary, and post-secondary levels. She currently serves as the Director of the High School at Al-Rahmah, where she works closely with administrators, teachers, and students to support academic growth and achievement. Her efforts include promoting the integration of technology through computer-assisted language learning (CALL).

 

Prior to joining the Al-Rahmah team, Sr. Khadija conducted extensive research on students with word-level reading difficulties (WLRD) and dyslexia. Her work involved screening students with learning challenges and developing individualized intervention plans to meet their unique needs. She is also a certified WIDA ACCESS for ELLs administrator.

 

Alhamdulillah, Sr. Khadija holds a Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed..) from Indiana University Bloomington and is currently pursuing a doctorate in education. Her primary goal is to foster a school environment where students can thrive both academically and spiritually, within a safe and supportive setting. Her ongoing research focuses on coaching teachers to enhance their instructional practices and improve student learning outcomes.
