Sr. Mehtaab earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from University of Maryland, Baltimore County and her Master’s in Education from The George Washington University. As an undergraduate and graduate student, she spent time in UMBC’s Global Medical Brigade in Nicaragua, providing free medical care and teaching children the importance of personal hygiene. Sr. Mehtaab has given back to the community by working as a mentor of high school refugee students in the Baltimore City Refugee Youth Project’s “College JUMP” program. By working at Al-Rahmah School, she hopes to embrace the path of becoming a strong advocate for all children while embedding kindness and the teachings of Islam. Sr. Mehtaab loves spending time outdoors with her family and friends and doing arts and crafts.
